The SABTT convened a dialogue titled Leveraging BRICS Strengths to transform Education and Skills Development for the Future, on 16 November 2023. Moderated by Ms Auriel Niemack from the SABTT, panel experts included Prof Mondli Hlatshwayo from the University of Johannesburg and Mr Ashraf Patel from the Institute for Global Dialogue, both from South Africa, a recorded presentation from Dr Gustavo Moraes from the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research in Brazil, as well three experts joining online, Ms Irina Kuklina (from the International Centre for Innovations in Science, Technology and Education in Russia), Mr Anirban Sarma from the Observer Research Foundation (India), and Prof Zhenying LIU from the BRICS Academy of Skills Development and Technology Innovation in Xiamen, China.
