Coordinated through the BRICS Energy Ministers' Meeting and supported by the BRICS Energy Research Cooperation Platform, this area of cooperation addresses key priorities such as energy access, energy transition, renewable energy, energy efficiency, innovation, and resilience in global energy markets.

The BRICS Energy sector plays a critical role in shaping a balanced and diversified global energy architecture, strengthening energy security, and supporting low-carbon and sustainable growth across member states.
