To strengthen agricultural cooperation among BRICS member states by promoting sustainable agricultural development, enhancing food security, sharing innovations and best practices, and advancing coordinated action on global agricultural challenges.

The BRICS Agriculture Ministers Meeting is a high-level forum bringing together the Ministers of Agriculture from BRICS nations. The meetings serve as a platform to review progress in agricultural cooperation, endorse strategic frameworks, and guide the work of technical bodies, including the BRICS Working Group on Agriculture. The forum emphasises collaborative approaches to food systems transformation, innovation, and capacity building.
