BRICS Civil Forum

Last Updated: 30 September 2025

Goal

To promote inclusive dialogue and collaboration among civil society organisations across BRICS countries, with the aim of advancing social development, human rights, sustainability, and people-centred cooperation.

About the Forum

The BRICS Civil Forum is a key platform for engagement between civil society actors from BRICS Nations. It brings together non-governmental organisations, academia, think tanks, youth groups, and community leaders to discuss shared social challenges and propose constructive policy recommendations.

Held annually in the lead-up to the BRICS Summit, the Forum facilitates open dialogue on critical issues such as gender equality, climate action, public health, education, digital inclusion, and participatory governance. Its outcomes contribute to the broader BRICS agenda by ensuring that the voices of citizens and communities are reflected in policy discussions and development strategies.
