Goal
To enhance strategic dialogue and coordination among BRICS countries on regional and global security issues, with the aim of promoting peace, stability, and a rules-based international order.
About the Meeting
The BRICS National Security Advisors Meeting is a high-level platform that brings together the National Security Advisors (NSAs) of the BRICS bloc, to exchange views on key security challenges.
The meeting facilitates strategic consultations on issues such as counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, regional conflicts, transnational crime, and emerging threats. It also supports the alignment of BRICS positions in multilateral security forums and contributes to the development of collective security approaches that respect sovereignty and promote international cooperation.
