Goal:
To implement the strategic priorities set by the BRICS Agriculture Ministers by facilitating technical collaboration, policy dialogue, and joint initiatives across key areas of agriculture and rural development.

About the Meetings:
The BRICS Working Group on Agriculture comprises senior officials and experts from the BRICS countries who work collaboratively to operationalise the decisions of the Agriculture Ministers. The group focuses on key thematic areas such as agricultural research, technology transfer, food security, climate-resilient farming, and capacity building. It serves as the technical backbone of BRICS agricultural cooperation, fostering practical outcomes and partnerships.
