About the Working Group

The BRICS Employment Working Group comprises senior officials and technical experts from each member country’s labour ministries and related institutions. It serves as the primary platform for operationalising ministerial commitments, advancing research, and developing cooperative programmes in areas such as skills for the future, formalisation of work, social dialogue, and labour market inclusion.

The Working Group plays a key role in fostering policy coherence, sharing best practices, and promoting labour market innovations that support decent work for all in BRICS economies.
