The BRICS Academic Forum is a track 2 platform for academicians from the five countries to deliberate on issues of crucial importance to BRICS. The forum invites 10 to 12 scholars from each member nation to speak on themes of importance. In addition, a large number of scholars from all countries participate in the deliberations.
